Are you taking new patients?

Yes, we are always taking new patients at Solar Dental and appreciate referrals from existing patients to their family and friends!

What is “direct billing insurance”?

This means your insurance company will pay our office directly and you don’t have to pay for any covered treatment upfront and then wait for your insurance company to reimburse you. If your insurance accepts direct billing we will take care of it all – including filing your claims for you electronically once your treatment is completed.

We will also:

  • Review your insurance plan with you so we both understand what is available.
  • Prioritize your treatment over a pre-determined length of time.
  • Make certain you receive all the benefits you’re entitled to.

At some point, everyone has questions, so please call us when you do. For starters, let’s make sure you’re not missing out on any benefits owed during any fiscal period. And remember, we’re always here to help.

How can I transfer my files from another office?

We can easily transfer your files from another office.

We will just require you to sign a Transfer of Records form, which we will fax on your behalf to your previous dentist requesting that they send us copies of your records.

There is no charge to transfer your records with us.

How can I pay for my dental appointment?

Patients are required to pay the balance not covered by your Insurance (co-payment and deductible) at the time that services are rendered while the balance will be billed to your insurance company for payment. We accept Cash, Debit, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. If you do not have Insurance and would like to arrange a zero interest payment plan please request this prior to treatment and our Office Manager will discuss the details with your prior to your appointment.

What is your Cancellation Policy for appointments?

Once an appointment has been scheduled, this time has been reserved exclusively for you.

If, for some reason, you aren’t able to keep your appointment, please call our office to reschedule. We understand that emergencies happen, but we request 48 hours notice to reschedule. We reserve the right to charge you for missed appointments

When should I bring my child in for the first time?

A child’s first dental visit should be a positive experience!

At the first check-up, your child will see one of our Dental Hygienists who will explain everything they are doing in child friendly terms. We recommend three years old as an appropriate age for a first visit, however, if you have questions or concerns about your child’s teeth before they are three years old, please call us.

Do you take Emergency and/or Walk In appointments?

If you are experiencing a dental emergency, please call our office so we can offer you an appointment time. Walk-ins are always welcome and will be seen as our schedule permits. We will make every effort to get you out of your immediate discomfort.

We are open 7 days per week including evenings and weekends.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes – we encourage you to take advantage of our zero interest payment plans. We offer financing for dental treatment through a company called Health Smart.

What are your current tooth whitening offers?

We currently have 2 Summer Whitening Specials for our Patients:

1) Zoom! 1-hr In-Office Tooth Whitening — $199 (regularly $399).
As seen on Extreme Makeover – You won’t find a lower price anywhere. Our most popular option.

2) Take-home tooth whitening with professionally prepared custom trays. Offer is valid 1x per year for each patient for the low cost of $50. (Some conditions may apply. Ask us to find out if you are eligible for this whitening offer.)
